What is an Alchemical Wedding?

To me, marriage is an alchemical process, one that transforms us, not only to the extent that we are legally and emotionally intertwined with one another, but because, ideally, we are also energetically interwoven with one another with consciousness, respect, and integrity. Interweaving is a state of awareness that recognizes that we are separate individuals, who have chosen to interlace our energies. When we are aware of how we energetically impact each other, we can better partner with and support each other. This interlacing makes each partner, and the relationship, stronger. We are transformed from separate threads into a beautiful tapestry.

When we chose to intertwine our energy with another, it’s important to do so with consciousness and understanding. To be aware of what it means, and to accept the significant responsibility that goes along with that choice. To make agreements that recognize and honor the fact that such a marriage is a sacred trust.

Working with you on your Alchemical Wedding, I will:

– Help you to explore what it means to interweave your energy together with respect, integrity and consciousness
– Help you to create a foundation of agreements to honor this sacred trust
– Help you to craft a ritual that reflects your individual and combined needs and desires
– Officiate over and guide your wedding ritual

My vision is to walk alongside you as you celebrate and honor your connection, and create a foundation for making your relationship even more beautiful than it was.

I am licensed to officiate weddings and funerals in all 50 states. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, as well as Poly/ENM friendly. In cases where a legal wedding is not desired, or cannot be performed, or a couple is already married, an Alchemical Wedding ritual can be a beautiful way to share your committed energetic connection with your community.

Because of the personalized nature of this process, we can discuss the financial exchange after we’ve had our initial consultation. Day, time, length and content of the ritual, travel distance, and pre-wedding preparations before the event are considered when determining the financial exchange. I am happy to work with you to create something that fits your budget and feels like an abundant exchange for all of us!

I believe that rituals are powerful tools for living An Alchemical Life. Rituals carve out sacred space to honor the transitions of our journey. Through rituals, we can celebrate transformational events; cross symbolic thresholds; release old roles, relationships and energies; embrace and embody new roles, relationships and energies; welcome new life; and honor the passing of loved ones or cherished pieces of our lives. Rituals are an opportunity to weave new threads into the tapestry of who we are, or to lovingly trim away the threads we can no longer include in that tapestry.

I believe a good ritual engages the body, mind, spirit and energy. It is done with consciousness and intention, integrity and alignment. It can be a communal event surrounded by loved ones, or an intimate experience of one or two people. And when it is complete, there is a sense of satisfaction, a feeling that something important happened.

I would be honored to help you dream and create an ideal ritual for the thresholds and transitions of your life. I am ordained to do weddings (see above) and funerals. I am also available for:
